i don't reckon its that bad-its different but it should be its not PJ. I'd be guessing but i dare say neil may have requested Ed Vedder to maybe play it especially as neil comes out and does a sort of improv tag on it. would love to hear quality versions of corduroy, betterman and not for you that were also done during that series of gigs.
when i said ridiculous, i meant in a good way. shit, radiohead meets pearl jam is like a dream for me. obviously i can tell phil selway's drumming, but i want to know which part ed obrien is doing. if anyone has the dvd, that should show it.
I have the CD...I think it's a great version. I love how the drums kick it off. If I remember correctly, somone comes in off key at the beginning of the second verse...unless thats another version.
Great top notch version of PW!
Are corduroy, betterman and not for you that were also done during that series of gigs on the DVD?

I might have to pick that up
none of these songs are in the dvd (at least not in the one that i have). it has at least one song that's not in the cd: History Never Repeats, Ed with Betchadupa (or something), the band of Neil Finn's son. i like I See Red too, it's a crazy version, Ed has his hair up and black kajal in his eys, sorta like The Cure. hilarious!
