Even if I had the cheddar, I wouldn't pay that much to go to the SB. This last Rose Bowl, however...

What is the Super Bowl lottery system like for regular fans? My dad and uncle were considering entering it, but the timing never really worked for them. Aren't nosebleed seats still $400 face?

There were only about 5,000 (out of 65,000) tickets sold to the general public. Out of 50,000 season ticketholders, only about 15% received tickets. My brother-in-law, who has had tickets to Lions' games on the 45 yard line in his family for about 40 years, got shut out. Tickets are extremely hard to come by.

For information, call Mike Tice.

Because the NFL and the sponsors get a TON of tickets. The press that can't fit in the pressbox also get tickets. What's left are a couple of nosebleed tickets in the corners of the end zones for actual fans.
