didn't want to start a new thread, so I figured I'd jump on and ask the same question.

Making a mix for my son and wanted to put Croon Spoon on there but can not find it.

Anybody willing to PM me a link?

Grazie.

I love croon spoon. Don't listen to them

The cradle will rock is an amazing movie to boot.

Isn't this the song with Susan Sarandon?

Cuz that's the one I'm thinking of, and can't believe anyone would like it.

Croon Spoon or Hitchhiker, Stip?

I think Croon Spoon is a fun little song that's obviously a break from the work of the band. It's a 2-minute one-off in which Ed duets with a female singer. What's not to love?

Wasn't Kim Gordon initially supposed to sing with Ed, and then for some reason that fell through? I swear I remember reading that back when Cradle Will Rock was coming out...

If I may paraphrase Bammer

Even Flow > Croon Spoon > Turtles Fucking > Hitchhiker

Forget Croon Spoon...

Does anyone have Wes C. Adle singing with Victoria Williams on "Passin' Thru" on Gary Heffern's Painful Days???

I had this on a cd somewhere a good 7 years or so ago, and I lost it...

I've finally been able to track it down. The soundtrack to "Cradle Will Rock" is out of print, but I just got a pristine copy through Amazon's Marketplace. Ed duets with Susan Sarandon on "Croon Spoon" and it's a 40's style musical number. Never thought I'd hear him sing in this style. What a trip. Has anyone else here heard it? I've never seen much mention of it.

Sure, I got the soundtrack. It's interesting to hear a couple times just for the quaintness.

It's fun to play to random people and tell them that it's eddie vedder
