Does anyone know what this is?

Numbered limited edition,
blue vinyl
A side: Man of the Hour
B side: Thin Air, Lukin
(live at Benaroya hall)

Can't find it on some of those PJ discography/collectors sites.
Can't find a picture of it.

How could something like this exist and nobody around here have heard of it before?

well, there was this music fair yesterday,
and I saw it and I bought it, for about 25-30$.
I'm so in love with that song lately, and with coloured vinyl singles. I just couldn't resist.

I'm guessing it's a bootleg.

well,
I talked with this lady who was selling these things for quite a while,
how she saw the band in Holland 92 for the first time,
how she really collected all the vinyl (she had the fan club singles from 95 on also, Light Years on yellow vinyl, Jeremy on white vinyl, ...), but now needed to sell it.

I'm seeing her again at a fair in a couple of weeks, I'll ask her about it again.

FAKE WITH A CAPITAL F

at least, that's what mister Santos L. Halper said over at the "other" board:

http://forums.pearljam.com/showthread.p ... ost2395467

There has never been a vinyl pressing of the Man of the Hour single.

thanks for that.

It's so beautiful

I'll see if I can give it back and get something else instead. But I might just keep it instead.

Poto.... there used to be one in Milwaukee, once every 3 or 4 months at Serb Union Hall (think that was the name of it?) on Oklahoma ave...
the first few times i went to it, it was awesome. I spent so much money those first few times....

but the last couple times i went (which was like 5 years ago now at least) it really sucked.... the "bootleggers" were getting nabbed to often for selling LEGAL releases, IE booting official releases..... in which that scared off the couple really good collectors from dealing at that show. I used to have the one guys email.... he was great, because his mindset was:
"with todays technology, there is no such thing as a "rare" boot anymore. We can burn copies are self on CD that sound just as good as the rest.... " he wouldnt charge over 20 for a single disc, or over 30 for a double. AND if you bought af ew from him hed useally knock a few bucks off, or toss in something free he liked.....

They might still have that show there? i wouldnt know how to find out though.. but you living in Chicago im sure have some. Not to mention try finding some small mom and pop stores ;)
