Looking for thoughts, since it just happens to be on FOX right now. I watched about five minutes and then I turned the channel to Fox Soccer Channel, which is also showing a game from Germany. Amazingly the soccer game is being played in front of a full house and the NFL Europe game is played in front of a half empty arena!
But yeah, does anyone actually like NFL Europe beyond just getting a football fix?

i'm a pretty big football fan and i can't watch nfl europe at all. i'll watch arena f-ball sometimes but the europe league is like watching minor league baseball.
I can't watch it. I can't even get into an arena football game. And I've really tried, especially this year, with no hockey and I'm looking for something to fill that massive void.

I thought I'd dig this thread up again because one of the cheerleaders from the Amsterdam Admirals called me up last night to see if I was going to buy a season ticket again this year. So, it must be time for the season to get going soon. I see the Admirals for the third year have Gibran Hamden playing quarterback for them. He supposedly belongs to the Redskins, but if he's coming back here for a third year, he really can't be up to much.
One Dutch team against the Germans. Lets hope they can repeat as champions.
Anyone know of decent players that are heading over that are worth watching?

I have thought about why I love college and pro football but not NFL Europe.
I think it is because I care who wins each NFL game or college game. Everybody has teams they like and dislike and you know the players in the NFL. NFL Europe is kind of a sub-standard brand of football played by teams and players nobody cares about.

Drew Henson is playing for the Rhein Fire and will be splitting time at QB with the NCAA's all time leading passer in Timmy Chang. Henson could be a future NFL starter if he amazes in NFL Europe, so you might want to check him out. You could be witnessing the next Jake Delhomme... or the next Clint Stoerner, I'm not sure.

Cool. I bought my season ticket for the Admirals yesterday. Now I just need to get my binoculars to check out the German cheerleaders better
