I just heard the LATG version of In My Tree, it's the first time I've heard it in a while, and one of the few times I've listened to it on a worthy soundsystem.
I got goosebumps at the start of the second verse, something that normally only happens with the creme de la creme of PJ songs.
Does anyone else out there get a rush the first time you hear a song for a while?

It's ridiculous how many mix cd's I've made for people that has that exact version of throw your arms around me on it. Every single one of them loves it, too

It's always a great feeling when you stick in a cd you haven't heard for a while.

That was my first introduction to the song, but I must admit I am enamored with the duet between Ed and Mark Seymour in early '03. That fucking version is amazing.

I appear to be one of the few who prefer the old version of IMT
I'm with you on that. May i suggest an oft-overlooked version -- Greensboro 2000. I have no idea why they went away from that style. Matt Cameron is a beast. That is an amazing, and very difficult, beat he conjures up. That version (the old IMT in general) is so raw but still has the ethereal, soaring feeling. love it.
