Seems like every week 3-4 teams are wearing some bizzare- colors reversed- strange looking alternate uniform. perhaps the Falcons have had 4-5 variations already this year. With all these collegent looking uniforms, I was wondering who do think looks the worst.

I really hated the oragne jerseys Miami wore last year, and the Giants , seeing the men in blue in red just looked wrong. The Pats silver ones, as mentioned in another thread, were bland looking, and ugly. Philly's black jerseys are strange because they little black in their logo or regular uniform, but I think the Ravens black on black and the Falcons look ok since birds are black anyway. Bears in orange looked bad too.

My favorite alternate uniforms include the Chargers Light blue, and Dallas's big star on shoulder jersey.

I'm hoping that some of the alternatie uniforms show on ESPN Football 2k5 don't really exist, such as Greeen Bay's all yellow, or Minnesotas yellow shirts, or the 49's gold.

The only team I can think of being consistant wearing the regular uniform all season is Pittsburgh, and Washington. Does all this changing the unifroms every other week bother anyone else, or do you think its neat?

i like the throwbacks once in awhikle. The Chargers Powder Blue is great and i even like the Lions old school threads. It's a nice change of pace for some teams.

you know those uni's are made mandatory by the NFL? All teams must have and use at least once a third or alternate jersey. throwbacks (like the powder blue SD) count as a 3rd jersey.

The Jets last week wore green shirts with green pants and that counted as their alternate uniform.

I cant remember my rams using them, but they have these shiny gold jerseys that are awful. IN 2002 they wore white shirts w/ white pants, hideous, and last yr it was white shirts w/ blue pants which they scrapped cause they lost to the giants.

and um, the dolphins orange uniforms? FUCKING AWFUL

I take swipes at the alternative shirts in the NHL. But I will bite for the NFL. The Giants looked odd in the red. It was a nice shirt just on the wrong team. Since I like the Broncos, I tend to like the Browns in their orange uniforms. I know Browns but wearing Orange? I am a sucker for that colour. I do like the throw backs from a couple of years ago when GB and Det wore the old, old style. Something about the siplicity of that look. Once Denver switched to the new look and ditched the orange for that stupid look they have now, it woke me up to the fact that.....I always look at shirt changing as more a ploy to suck money into pockets of owners. As how the Eurpean Soccer strips change every year. Every single year.

Since you're a Rams fan, what did you think when they scrapped the yellow in favor for gold? I've always felt that the blue and gold doesn't match as well--the dark blue makes the gold look too mustardy.

I'm torn on which jerseys I like better. I prefer the orange, but I've never been a big fan of the old logo.

is that true? I know they haven't worn any alternate jersey this year. I can understand why the NFL wants them do it, but to make them do it? And if that is true why would they count green pants and green jersey's worn simultaneously as being the alternate uni? It's not like the fans are going out and buying the pants too.

I love the new Rams logo, the Rams head, but the navy blue/Gold home uniform looks UGLY. they look like robots or something i nthe home jersey. The white road uni workd well, but I'll always favor the blue and yellow, the colors they won SB 34 with! and the horns on the shoulders of the old uniforms!

If the Dolphins in orange shirts ever played the powder blue Chargers, I'm pretty certain I would vomit right then and there.

I'm glad that the Packers have kept it old school. They same the same yellow pants every week and either the dark green or white jersey. The only time they deviate from this is if they wear a throwback. The don't do any stupid green on green or yellow on green combo.

Personally I don't like when any team wears black on black. I also have trouble stomaching the Bengals uniforms this year...then again there past uniforms have been pretty grotesque too.

the packers never wear alternate uniforms, with the exception of throwbacks on a couple of thanksgiving games -- and those are pretty cool.

the bears wearing orange last week really threw me.
