At the Superbowl last night, there was a call for a moment of silence for Rosa Parks and Coretta Scott King.

I don't know about you, but I heard an awful lot of racket going on in the stadium during that "moment of silence".

Thoughts?

Nothing says respect quite like a moment of silence at a football game.

I didn't notice. I was probably filling my drink and not looking at the TV. If that's true, though, I would be highly disappointed.

A lot of drunk football fans who weren't there to attend a civil rights march?

I heard a lot of booing for Tom Brady, which made :bammer: laugh. Shit, he got booed more than Ashlee Simpson at the Orange Bowl.

I like how he used the $ dollar sign and also spelled out the word "dollar" (incorrectly) to describe the expensive Super Bowl nachos.

Not as exciting as the guys who yell out, "A-ROD IS A FAG" during moments of silence at Sox games.

From what I saw when he heard the boos he got a great big ol' smile on his face. There's no better sense of accomplishment for an opposing player than being booed the most.
