"oh the pain"

he's on vacation all week...which sucks. The World's Fattest Texas Rangers fan is ok, but he's no Joe.

Mike and the Dog were killing this move yesterday. While these two are idiots most of the time, they do bring up a valid point: the lack of experience in the Jets front office and coaching staff could be a weakness. Then again, Accorsi has been around forever, he's made plenty of dumb draft picks and personnel decisions.

Gee thank God we have fatass and his retarded sidekick to point this stuff of out. I wonder if the two morons realize neither Bradway nor Edwards had experience as GM or HC before the Jets hired them.

and how did they work out? I don't think they did a bad job...but I wouldn't say they did a great job either. Many of the best players on the Jets were there before they even arrived.

Ok so were they arguing the Jets shouldn't have replaced Bradway or that they should have replaced Bradway but with someone else? When you said they were shitting on the move I thought the implication was they should have stayed with Bradway.

If you want to call this a resignation, go ahead, but it's obvious he was given the boot.

Bradway gets one-year extension from Jets
Thursday, February 09, 2006
STAFF AND WIRE REPORTS
Former Jets general manager Terry Bradway was given a one-year extension on his contract while stepping aside in favor of Mike Tannenbaum, according to a league official close to Bradway.

Bradway, who is now a "consultant" with the club, had two years remaining on his contract. He had served as the club's general manager for five seasons.

The extension should put an end to speculation that there was a power struggle between Bradway and Tannenbaum.

Bradway, 50, wants to remain in the area. He lives in South Jersey with his wife, Kathy, has a son who plays football at Villanova and two other teenage children.

In other Jets news, Vinny Marino, who currently works with the NFL Management Council and is no relation to former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, is a candidate to join the Jets as a salary-cap specialist.

they weren't really pro or anti Bradway...their main point was that the Jets seem to lack experience in the front office at this point. However, now that it appears Bradway is staying on as a consultant, this probably isn't as big a deal.
