since i am going through a massive pearl jam drought, i will indulge in tossing out stupid posts for your amusement.
Do you think Pearl jam will ever do the backwards show? Like that episode of seinfeld. Would you enjoy it if they made a set list and played it backwards. The songs would be heard the way you know them (as in the songs won't be backwards) but the show would open with yellow ledbetter and close with release?

No kidding
REM opened a show once (actually the day after Bush won in 2004) with It's the end of the world as we know it, which is almost always their closer, and then Michael Stipe said good night and faked walking off the stage, which was really funny.

I can't remember off hand, but I sort of remember being at a show that Crazy Mary opened, but I wasn't at the Philly shows.

Maybe MSG 2?
Yes, it's true: MSG 2.

yellow ledbetter would be a great opener.

The energy was great but there were too many "greatest hits" songs for my taste. Still one of the best shows I've ever seen, though.

I think they may have already done this with No Code, but I'd like to see them play an entire album in order, including the throw-a-aways and everything. If they had time they could do two albums in one concert.
