What's the earliest one can buy tickets for the '06 College Football season? I need tix for the OSU/Michigan game in Columbus and I know that game sells out fast. Any help would be great. Thanks! :)

depends on the school. contact whichever school's ticket office that's hosting the game. there won't be many singles. the best way to get tickets to a big game like that is to get season tickets for the whole year.

its going to be virtually impossible to get tickets to that game.

unless you go to a broker.

You probably can't get season tickets for OSU unless you are an alum and have donated some money.

I can't speak for OSU, but I know for A&M and Texas you don't have to be an alum, just a donor.

Carolina basketball has a 6-year waiting period at this point  ... but that's basketball

anyway, i would say that a broker or a scalper at the game are your best bets

Typically, for Michigan, you have to be both an alum and a donor to get football tickets.

I think your best bet is to see if you can get tickets for 2010. You might have a shot at that.

I would kill to go to a Texas-Texas A&M game at DKR, it'll probably never happen though.

And you would think they'd get up and make some noise with all that effort to get in. :P

lol, great. :?

Well thanks guys. Looks like I'm gonna have to sell my body. This sucks. I HAVE to get tix to that game. That's why I'm trying to figure this out early, so I'll at least have a shot at getting some. I'd be willing to put up some good money for them. 3 maybe 4 hundered dollars.

i don't know a lot about ticket prices for that game but i would think getting in for anything less than $500 is probably unlikely.

if youre patient, and can wait until kick-off, or ten minutes to, then you can get in for 3-400 bucks easily, i would think... there are going to be what, 90,000+ tix or so?

It's sort of like getting tickets for UNC-Duke hoops. There could be 200,000 tickets and they'd be impossible to get.

i dont know how it is at osu-mich games, but at chapel hill and durham scalping takes place right next to the cops... basically, it's no big deal... if it's like that up there, then i think she should be able to find tickets easily, as long as she's willing to pay the price... scalpers are everywhere these days... im not sure if i mentioned it, but we got our tickets for 212 a piece... and seeing that they have about a 1/4 of the tickets to work with compared to osu-mich football games, she'll be fine if she lines her pockets with cash

Is scalping legal in NC or just completely overlooked? I know in Michigan cops usually turn the other way, but when prices are $500 plus, you need to be a bit discreet.
