My english teacher told us how poets like to write about death so he made my whole class write a poem on death...this is my first post @ Release so don't be too harsh please...here goes:
Death is but a Dream
I see in my mind
A resemblance of you
As I lie here alone
With nothing to do
I hear nothing
Except the voice in my head
My eyes are closed tightly
My body clutches the bed
I continue to think of you
The loss that I have
It hurts me so deep
I’m one you cannot save
I’ve given up on life
My breaths taken aside
It’s too hard to go on
But I cannot hide
I wake up from my dream
And I see you there lying
You’re right next to me
Off together, we’ll go dying
Can you find the PJ line in it too?
