The other paradox about this, that I believe was mentioned in the old thread, is that if you reverse the sexes, the reactions would be WAY different.

I totally agree. I wasn't so outraged, because I would have loved to hit that. However, on the other hand, if it was a 14 year old girl and a 24 year old guy, I would have been disgusted. It's all a cultural way of looking at it. We vote for the legal age to be 18 because that's when a majority of us feel people are able to make educated decisions on their own.

True but the consequences of a 14 year old being pregnant vs. a 24 year old being pregnant weigh into those reactions too. And sexism.
