COCKY WEST: 'I SHOULD BE IN THE BIBLE'

Cocky rap star KANYE WEST is calling for a revised edition of THE BIBLE, because he thinks he should be a character in it.

The JESUS WALKS hitmaker, who picked up three Grammy Awards last night (08FEB06), feels sure he'd be "a griot" (West African storyteller) in a modern Bible.

He says, "I bring up historical subjects in a way that makes kids want to learn about them. I'm an inspirational speaker.

"I changed the sound of music more than one time... For all those reasons, I'd be a part of the Bible. I'm definitely in the history books already."

This guy should be a stand up comedian, he'd make a killing.

Kanye West is never sarcastic. He is always 100% serious and never says things to try and get a rise out of people.

this guy gets more ridiculous every day. he essentially dresse up in costumes and parades around.

But he hates BUSH, and 50 cent doesn't like him, so I give him the benefit of the doubt.

for now though. I can see him in a year or two maing p diddy look humble.

its definitely a fine line though. I could see him one day talkin junk about someone i like and then thinking he's a dick. But for now, keep talkin shit about BUSH and 50 "Nothin but the Hook" Cent.

he was respectful of U2, which is cool. It shows he understands music.

U2 = legends

personally, i don't like U2, but evidently they have been doing something right to have the success they have had for as long as they have.

he could easily have bashed them for being a pop rock band, and beng old, etc., but he didn't.

Regardless, it would take a hell of a lot more than that to show that he "understands music."

i like when people speak about important things. I feel like 50 cent, tony yayo, and these other bafoons bring nothing to the table but violence and diamonds. Kanye is a thinking man, and I can vibe with that!

The thing with 50 Cent and the rest is that they actually look like thugs, so the braggadociousness makes sense. Kanye looks like an ewok in Abercrombie.

evidently, it was more than just kanye who felt that way. Unless they only bought the albums because of peer pressure.

honestly, i think most new rap sucks balls. I grew up on PE, Eazy E, Tribe, Wu, and Pac, so this garbage I hear nowadays with a bunch of fools either yelling or talkin bout their spinners makes me cringe. it's what drove me back to rock music quite honestly.
