remember not to long ago greenday were releasing albums, few cared.you'd hear a song on the radio for about a week then it'd be gone?
then they had that song american idiot.you'd hear it maybe once a day, then each day it'd be played more and more, then boulevard of broken dreams came out,and everyone was saying how great this was and suddenly their album was a top seller, and it was considered the year of greenday's return.
well will this happen to pearl jam? i mean you can tell the nation is ready for rock music again, and who better to bring it?personally i hope this doesnt happen.

Well...if the news songs are that great that the guys are talking about there are some chances that this may happens...and of course they have to do some decent videos.

If it did, I'd be interested to see how people would react to it. Like, wow! I didn't even know they were still around?? Then, you'll see this alarming increase in albums like No Code and up.

I think he means that there are a lot of people that don't know the band has released four albums since Vitalogy.

not to bash pearl jam, i love em, but the way greenday conquered not only the U.S. but in fact the whole freakin world is something Pearl Jam will never ever do again.
They just don't have enough promotional activities for that.
And to be honest... that's just fine with me.
Makes them kinda, best kept secret ... hard to explain the feeling

On one hand, I wouldn't mind them becoming really popular again so people will stop telling me Vs. was the last good record they put out. But on the other hand, I would hate to be at a concert having some knucklehead screaming, "play *insert name of new supercool single*" the whole show.

they play big arenas. As long as you have your fanclub tickets it's someone else's problem.
