I just received a call saying that school has been cancelled today.

yeah well I have a one hour delay, in a sense:

ok so I just missed my bus cuz I went to go say bye to my dog before I go to the bus but instead i cuddled up with her and ended up falling asleep. So i missed the bus, but my 21 year old brother is gonna drive me in, but he said to wake him up in an hour so i have a one hour delay. And now my parents won't have to find out :D

even though all the schools in the area have completely shut down and the roads are caked with two inches of snow/ice, my university is still open. as such, i've decided to declare my own snow day.

2 feet of snow in Connecticut this past weekend, but it's close to 60 degrees here today (yesterday too). Supposed to be in the low 20's this weekend.

The random New England weather is really frustrating.
