Having watched super bowl XX about 30 times growing up, he is one of my favorites just because i've heard his voice so much. Obviously he has gone down hill as he as had gotten older, like pretty much all announcers, but i still enjoy him

Where do Van and Rick rank?
Van was pretty good back in the day...by the end it was clear he was losing it (referring to Travis Henry as Thurman and not being able to recognize fumbles, etc.)
Jeanerette (sp?) is great, he ranks at the top as well - but people who aren't buffalo fans probably wouldn't agree.

if Jenerrete (sp?) had a national gig, his enthusiasm alone would make hockey much more popular. the way his voice cracks when he screams, "the shot". the man is a legend.

Always liked him, especially when he was teamed with Merlon Olsen back in the mid 80's. he did the Jets Dolphins 51-45 OT game back in 86, he O My'd about 20 times. Maybe not as good as he once was but a likable guy regardless
