Anyone else see it?
I found it interesting and aggravating at the same time. Everything seemed a little too simplistic in the explanations. Not a good basis for a scientific doco type movie.
I guess I liked their thoughts and ideas, but disliked how they got to them. Sort of like Michael Moore in a way.

i've not heard of this one yet, should i have? meaning, has it been out for a while and perhaps i just missed it, or, is it one of those decent, un-jerry bruckheimer-esque movies that the theatres in my small texas town don't bother showing?

I saw this having no idea what it was about, a friend said I would like it. Man, it was terrible. It had some potential, had some neat ideas, but it was just so badly done. Fifteen minutes into this movie and I wanted to stab my eyes out. By the end of the movie, it had redeemed itself a little only by being so bad that I couldn't help but find it amusing.
I completely agree with some of the points it was trying to make, but the movie really did nothing for me. It could have been a great movie but it just completely missed the boat.
My thoughts anyway

i saw it
i appreciated all the ideas they focused on....the animations were a bit childish, i thought, I could've gone without. there was so much scientific rhetoric that I didn't understand why they needed the story line to go along with it. Honestly, the film could've aired on PBS or The Discovery Channel as a special.
Anyway, I did get a lot from it and I'd like to see it again so I can focus less on the plot and more of the info. they are throwing at you. I felt like i was in college again, but forgot my notebook so couldn't transcribe any lecture notes.
does anyone know if the photographing water bit is for real? or was that just a explantory device?

I think that also sums up how I feel about it, but maybe just to a slightly lesser degree. I wouldnt say terrible as much as seriously lacking.
i just have to edit this and say that this is quite possibly the coolest thing ever. nevermind if you don't by the idea...that water can have expressions...they are awesome photographs.

First time I watched it I was high and thought the stuff they were saying was so crazy (in a good way) then I rewatched it months later and I was like what the hell is this? i liked it no where near as much.

this was recommanded to me when i was taking eastern philosophy last year, apparently the idea of reality manifesting itself according to our will/spirituality is somewhat similar to Hinduism, and the movie may have made references to this, but i don't quite remember.
But i didn't really like the film itself, i thought it wasn't scientific enough, nor was it logical enough from a philosophical persepective, and ended up promoting a type of "make believe" sort of reality. and i didn't for a second buy the notion that the natives in Cuba didn't see the fleets of Columbus because it was outside of their imagination.
the two supposed scientists who reminded me of nothing but Ms. Cleo didn't really help
