Here's how to play it:

If you're right handed - the guitar has two pegs which you use to connect the "strap"...this "strap" will go over your left shoulder. Adjust height to a comfortable level. Then, using your right hand, hold the "pick" with your thumb and pointer finger. Depending on what part of the song you're playing, you will either using your right hand to perform a picking motion or a strumming motion. With your left hand, grab the long stem of the guitar and press your fingers down on the strings, which will make contact with the "fretboard." Depending on how many strings you push down on, and which fret you're in, different sounds will come out. Good luck!

If you're left handed - do everything in reverse order.

This song is pretty bad ass....

It's a big FU to fairweather fans is what it is...

If you couldn't gather that from the song it's a dead give away with the outtro..

It's your move now,
I thought you were a friend,
But I guess I
I guess I hate you...
..

And the conclusion kicks ass..... when I'm driving, it makes me floor it... :D

It goes something like this:

DA DA DADA DA DADA DADA DA DA DADA DA DA DA DA DADA DA DA.
I'm tired now. I like the avator C.B.

this song is THE pearl jam song. No other song encapsulates them and what they are about like this one does

What a great bump.

For some reason I had been watching this topic, so when I saw it in my email I had no idea why...didn't remember this thread. Then I read my initial post.

Yeah, its hard to tell whether you were trying to be funny or being a cunt. I think it works both ways.

i played this everytime i played at open mic in college every other wednesday.

sometimes i'd play the alternate version and just play an open F, open G.

sometimes i'd rock out and play the barres F-E-G.

then my chorus was C-G-A-G.

breakdown for 'everything has chains' was G-D.
