Shouldn't this be in the original thread? And here's a thought to file away for the future - when you act like a total douche, sometimes people get pissed. I just felt it was pretty sad that you would waste all that time and energy on disliking a band, and that your reasons would be as stupid as they were. Are you 14? Serious question, because that's when I can remember the whole "hating a band due to 'selling out'" thing got old for me. The greatest irony about this, of course, is that Pearl Jam has sold out just as much as U2 with their iPod promotion (though no TV appearances), and Pearl Jam's favorite band the Who has sold out worse than anybody. But a band being a sellout doesn't stop me from listening to U2, Pearl Jam, or the Who, so unless your point WAS to piss people off and be a twit, you succeeded at nothing

Everybody has different musical tastes and everybody has the right to those musical tastes. You came here and started ranting about U2. I like U2, not you too. But U2.
