Since we moved to CUSA, Marshall will be lucky to win a single conference game this year. It would be cool to see teams like Rice, Tulane, and ECU come play, but we are playing home games 50 miles away in Charleston because our current baseball field is worse than most high school facilities :x

I am, too. Last year was atrocious. But hey, new coach, new beginning. We've started off 8-0. I hope we can keep it going.

Sic em Bears. Best start to a season in a decade, and that is with three freshmen starting in the infield. I'd be surprised if we went back to the CWS after losing 7 players in the first 18 rounds of the draft, but you never know.

I'm interviewing Coach Smith tomorrow, so I guess we'll see what he says about it.

I went and watched Texas vs Stanford for one game. Texas pitching looked good, but then they lost the next two games.

Man, we're really shitty. And we started off looking so good, too, what with taking a series from then #5 Florida in Gainesville.

3-10 in the Big XII right now. OUCH.

On the women's side of things, we're really, really good at softball, though.

Um, bullshit.

We beat you IN Austin 4-2 last week. Rankings don't mean shit if you can't bring it on the field, bitches.

And yeah, we'll be winning the conference again this year. Thanks.

We went 4-0 against UT in the regular season and also beat them in the Big 12 tourney last year and it ended up not meaning shit once the postseason came around. You beat UT in April - sorry to say, but it doesn't mean shit.

Anyway, heartbreaker to lose to Texas in the 13th inning like that. I'm proud of the boys though - playing like that with all of these freshman is pretty solid news for the upcoming seasons.

6-6 now in Austin in the 6th inning. Go Bears.
