Oh god, don't tempt me.

Any ideas in mind? What do you like?

A couple random ones I'll throw out:
Miller's Crossing
The 400 Blows
Suspiria
Laura
Patton
Chinatown
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb
Barton Fink
Macbeth (1971)
Broken Flowers
Paths of Glory
Down By Law (But liking Tom Waits is a prerequisite. Same goes for Short Cuts, which I'll also recommend.)
8 1/2
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Porco Rosso

Yeah, that's a start.

Hmm, a lot of those movies really aren't my type of thing (not all of them, just most), but I think I can suggest some that will be accessible and help steer you in the right direction.

I'm gonna re-recommend:
The Royal Tenenbaums
The Life Aqautic With Steve Zissou
Boogie Nights
The Big Lebowski
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb
Full Metal Jacket

And add:
Kill Bill (Both Volumes)
Fight Club
GoodFellas
The Godfather
The Shining (1980)
Chinatown
I Heart Huckabees
A Simple Plan
Trainspotting
Citizen Kane
A Streetcar Named Desire
