Lastnight i was looking at the LOTL case and i read something i had never seen before. Maybe i have seen and couldnt remember. Anyway, it said something along the lines of.....ps to police dept. (of two different cities) get a life and leave the kids alone.
Something like that. Anyone know the story behind that.

Well I know one of the cities mentioned is Hartford (is the other Raleigh?). I was at the 96 and 98 Hartford shows, and the cops were out of control. Both shows I got pepper sprayed peripherally, and I was nowhere near anything bad happening. Hell, in 98 I had seats a good 20 rows in from the lawn. There is a reason PJ hasn't played The Meadows since 98.

I was at the Harford 98 show as well, it was out of control, they left the stage after porch, obviously early. I was about 20 rows from the stage, and fighting to just stand up and not get trampled when Eddie told everyone to dance in the isles. It was crazy.
"As a band we all agree that the 98 tour has been one of our most fulfilling and exhilarating to date. Our sincerest thanks to everyone that attended and participated. The band also owes a huge debt of gratitude to our crew and manager who have not only given us outstanding technical and organizational support over the years, but who have also become our friends and loved ones. These are some of the faces that made this last tour possible. Thanks again.
And a P.S. to the Raleigh, NC and Hartford, CT Police Departments. Get a life. Leave those kids alone."

Yup--it was. And there is a thread about it here although it isn't a very interesting one.
