I'm having a problem myself. When I find a picture, it says it is .jpg. but when I go to save it to resize it, it changes to jpe. Anyone know how to get around this or if I even can?

hmm, when you go to resize it and save it you should save it as a gif file. gif file sizes are less than that of jpg.

How do I specify what type of file to save it as? The only option it gives me on the ones I've tried is bmp

when you go to save it there is a field below the name of the file that you can select the type of file you would like it saved as.

I was using IE. I switched to Netscape and it let me change it to a jpg and resize it. It now says my profile is updated but I can't see the avatar. GRRR.

EDIT: THANK YOU

I have an image, that it keeps telling me is to big. I resize it to 60 X 56 with photoshop and save it as a gif, but it still tells me its to big
how do i make it smaller with out making it look like crapo?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/ ... s11fpb.jpg

thats a unresized version of the picture, if some one is good with this stuff and wants to help :)

i don't know what to tell you. if you are saving the picture and then uploading it from your computer it should work properly. the only thing i can say is that you should talk to a mod and see if they have any suggestions as to how you can get it to work.
