Definitely Marx. It's in his essay on Hegel's philosophy of right (or something along those lines).
Nietzsche had a similarly skeptical view of religion, but that is not his quote. And he was a big music freak, so your quote of his sounds about right.
There's a passage in the Gay Science where he compares "love" to "music"... one of the most beautiful and moving passages I've ever read anywhere.
