The news about the 1st leg has me pumped, and I've been listening to a lot of live stuff. I noticed though, most of my files are a mess...I used to have them well organized, but over the years of downloading and ripping more stuff, everything is all over the place.
How do you organize your files? I have tons of CDs, but I like to have EVERYTHING on my computer for quick and easy access. I have studio releases, full concerts, b-sides, side projects, rarities, partial live concerts, demos, singles, etc etc. I want to get it all cleaned up, including tags (another big job in itself)...tell me how you do it.

I have the studio albums and bootlegs on cd. I keep the boots in a binder where they are organized poorly. The studio albums are on shelves with the rest of my cd collection, along with a couple of rarities discs I made and the GHC.
On my ipod, I have all the studio albums, the rarities cds I made and the GHC. I can't see overloading my ipod with live pj. I think I have too many bootlegs as it is and there are so many songs where all live versions sound practically the same.

I have 4 big binders with live cds organized by date. A have another binder with rarities and other misc. stuff. And i have the studio cds in order in my cd tower.
All of my bootleg dvds are in spindles, i really dont do too much with those, so they are unorganized.

I have all my concerts on cd orgainzed by date with typed out track lists, but I can't fit all that shit on my computer. On the computer I keep all the albums seperate, have seperate folders for the boston acoustic pre set and benyaroya, bad radio, and the ten demos. Everything else studio is in a comp folder. I have about 200 or so of my favorite live tracks in another folder orgainzed alphabetically. I actually don't have the shows they're from, which I regret.
