So today we get our first taste of ticket buying on the new site...
........... :(

I am almost tempted to log on, in preparation for Sunday, just to see how bad it will get.

True, but I'm kinda curious to see what to expect for Sunday.

I'm kind of jealous of you guys right now. God knows how long we'll have to wait for any news of touring this side of the water.

Maybe.

Like if they have 10,000 concurrent connection license and I am 10,001?

Or maybe if the sh*tstorm happens today, they still ahve time to improve or optimize their systems before Sunday.

That was the easiest pre-sale ever. Got into the site right away at 1pm EST, added them to the cart, checked out. Done by 1:02pm EST.

Gotta love this band!
See you tomorrow for Albany Tickets!

cool, thanks for the reports. I wasnt buying tix for torornto, but will be buying for future dates and was curious to see where the new system fell between the ease of Canada2005 and the debacle of Phily2005.

good to hear...

I'm sure it will run a lot slower with more confusion and headaches when the bigger shows go on sale. But then again, let's hope I'm wrong.

it was pretty easy...
but i guess it was due to the fact that it was only the pre-sale for 1 city (2 shows)... if they do it that way, then it should go pretty smoothly... but if they start having multiple shows at the same time, i could see it get ugly (i.e like the mystery poster sales)
