alright, i've been a lifelong steelers fan and, obviously they won the super bowl this year. however, with the controversies and whatnot, i had a hard time feeling...truely happy/excited.

now, what would make me happy you ask? if my other favorite teams won their respective championships.

so give me the odds on these teams winning:

NCAAB
duke

NHL
detroit red wings

NBA
miami heat

MLB
cleveland indians

If ONeal and Wade are healthy, good, but not great.

no love for the indians? they've got decent pitching (although they need closers) and with a few better hitters they'd be right up there i think.

Need closers? They have Wickman, have Matt Miller, and have Cabrera in the wings. Closer is a strength on that team :?

They'll finish #2 in the Central.

Give any team "a few better hitters" and they will probably "be right up there"

Wow, with the exception of the Injuns, you seriously like some "popular" type teams. Not trying to be a hater or a dick, Just thought it should be pointed out.

Yea, those teams are all over the map. With exception of the Indians (b/c you're from Ohio) how did you come to follow those particular teams?

i live 10 minutes away from PA (and i'm approx an hour between pitt and cleve)

my dad lives in north carolina. he likes UNC and i like duke.

the red wings...i can't really explain. but when i started watching hockey the blue jackets weren't in existence.

as for miami, i lied...i don't really watch a whole lot of nba anymore...but i have always been a fan of shaq's.
