Hey everyone, im new to this forum but not a new PJ fan, nor am i new to PJ forums, but other forums seem to be of very little help when it comes to many issues.
Topic at hand, signatures.

I have recently had a very large Pearl Jam painting created by a friend who knows i am a friend. It is truely a gorgeous piece (not totaly done), and it is missing a signature. This one has an emphasis on mike. (you may be able to guess the forum i frequent). Regardless, what is the best way to go about getting a signature?
Go around Toronto the day of their show and wait outfront of all of the nicest clothing stores?
Go to the ACC and hope to see their bus? ( i think it is actually impossible to get to cause of new age underground parking) i would rather NOT bring it to the show, but id probably do anything.
Should i go during sound checks?

ANy ideas folks?

P.S how old is Red Moquito? not the song, this forum.

-Phil

welcome to the board. :) RM goes back a few years. I know it was here when Riot Act came out, which was when I first posted. Then the board crashed fall 04 and reopened October I think.

the skyiscrape, which is RM's parent company, is much older.

I've never gotten an autograph and have no useful advice for you. :(

Welcome to the board. :D

If you're from the Toronto area, you may be familiar with a store you can find in a few malls ... I think it's called Celebrities. It may be an American chain - I dunno, but I've only ever seen it in the Cambridge Center mall.
They sell all kinds of sports, movie and music memorabilia, mostly autographed stuff. I got a framed 8x10 black and white photo of PJ from them, autographed by the whole band (with Jack, not Matt).
My point is, I'm pretty sure you can give them things, pay them, and they will send them off to be autographed. Now, I don't know how big your painting is, or what they would charge if they would accept it, but how about some contact info?

phone: 519-620-8459
email: celebrities@bellnet.ca

Good luck!

Celebrities eh? that would be excellent! I think i will have to contact them regarding that. Im hoping they dont just collect pre-autographed stuff they buy from the band. Regardless.

Ya the painting is huge so i dont know if i would have it on me even if the PJ gods were shining down on me to have me meet them at the fence, or on the street.
lucky guys! must have been quite the time!
