Beer Flows From Kitchen Faucet In Woman's Apartment

Oslo, Norway -- You may have seen the TV commercial in which a supposed "magic fridge" dispenses bottles of beer.

To a Norwegian woman, it may have seemed like magic when beer began running from her kitchen faucet.

But it was a nightmare to the bar two flights down when water poured out of their taps.

A clumsy plumber accidentally hooked beer hoses to the water pipes to the woman's apartment.

She says the free beer wasn't all that magical, though. It was flat and not tempting, even in a country where a pint costs nearly four dollars.

The beer distributor got on the phone to talk the bartender through the process of reconnecting the lines the right way.

I thought about getting Natty Light to come from my faucets. It'd probably be cheaper than water, and no one would know the difference.

This has to be fake. That's impossible.

I've seen pipes for water, and I've see the back of beer taps. This would be akin to accidentally plugging your vaccuum cleaner into your phone jack.

It's a true story... It even was on the news here.

And "A beer costs nearly four dollars"? I'd love to find that pub... Half a litre costs between 40-50 NOK in most places.

40.00 NOK = 6.00815 USD
50.00 NOK = 7.51018 USD

(A pint is 0,56826 Litres)
