Evacuation is the worst PJ song ever. And if he had a hand in Unemployable, he should be kicked out of the band. That song SUCKS.

How's this I hated Soundgarden and loved Pearl Jam, so am I going to like Matt C......probably not....just my opinion, not a fact. You are all entitled to your opinion.

Matt has written these songs for PJ: Evacuation (D), In the Moonlight (B), Cropduster (A+), You Are (A-), Get Right (C), and Unemployable (A).

If anything, he needs to write more.

Get Right and the new song are two of my favorite PJ songs of the last few years. Get Right stoops itself in the potency of language made devoid of specificity, the same as Tom Waits' 80's work, and that's awesome.

Unemployed = Great
Cropduster = Ehhhh, OK musically i guess... but kinda boring
Evacuation = musically i love it, vocally not a big fan of the chorus but that's not really Matt's fault :)
You Are = musically kinda neat, lyrically notsomuch (again not his fault ;))
Get Right = pretty decent

Check the Riot Act liner notes. he did write the lyrics.

I'm with you there, Doc. Evacuation is probably my favorite song my Matt. I don't understand why people dislike it so much.

I wonder if people would like it more if in the Binaural booklet it said "Words/Music - Vedder."

The guy's a drummer and the band let him write songs....please the band has been writing good songs since '90 when he was with some crapass grunge band. HE SUCKS.
