I really like the composition of this photo, also I've always liked the look of old weathered wood.
Thanks killing zoe. the interesting thing about this photo is that it is not a black and white photo. it's a color print, but the only color you see is a little greenish in the wood (mold i guess). this was taking on a very gray dreary day after a blizzard. if you click the photo to make it bigger you can see the green a little better.

That's pretty cool. Looking at it in this thread I thought it was B&W, I didn't see the color until I look at the full sized photo.
