First of all, Pearl Jam was NOT a cheap, low-budget Nirvana knockoff. Eddie Vedder always didn't want to be like the poor excuse Kurt "No-brain" Cobain. Songs like Jeremy, Alive and Evenflow sound fresh today. Despite the fact Pearl Jam left Sony, PJ signed with BMG which is now run by, you guessed it, Sony!
