It looks like a very good film, probably nothing ground-breaking, but just good performances all around. Looks truly like an actors' film.
Anyone seen it yet? It has a wide release but it's not going to every city, surprising because of all the big names. I'm going to make my way down to Nashville sometime to check it out.

It's pretty good. For some reason, I started to slowly lose interest in the characters in the second half, but I really like the style and the performances are great.

i just came back from seeing it, actually. i wanted to go at 8:45, but that representation was already packed, so i had to wait an hour. and luckily i was early on in the line up for the representation at 9:45 because that one got full packed either. i didn't expect so many people to go to the theater on a saturday night for that particular movie. now....concerning what i thought of it....i thought it was ok. not great, but not bad either. there are a couple of memorable scenes....i don't wanna spoil anything here. but like The Big So-So said, you kinda lose interest in the characters after a while...but i agree that all four actors gave great performances....especially Clive Owen.

Any chance in seeing Portman in the buff on the DVD? Don't count on it, Natalie tells us that the nude scene will not make it on any version of the film.

The director, Mike Nichols, is probably watching the deleted footage right now in the comfort of his home theatre.

they did an all right job with the movie. my favorite scene is the chatroom scene...which is even funnier if you see it live.
oh god....the chat scene is THE most memorable scene of the movie.
Ahhhh man, i know! It absolutley hilarious! I wasn't expecting that much sex dialouge in this movie I really liked the movie as a whole, great characters and pretty wonderful performances by all. Suprisingly, I actually thought Julia Roberts was the weakest character. But that Clive Owen was just wonderful and natalie portman did an awesome job.

i was talking with my friends about who was the most miserable character in the movie. Clive Owen was certainly the biggest asshole, but Jude Law... cried in front of him. So pathetic. At least cry in front of somebody who's not a total prick.
When Larry told Dan he fucked Alice after all that.. oh man. Both of those guys were schlubs.
