Schilling looked great, Ortiz picked up right where he left off.
Foulk is a wild card.

Great win, Papi is just amazing. And also a very encouraging start from Schill. Gonna be a great year.

I don't know if one thread for the Red Sox is a good idea, if it works then what will happen to all the little bitches who live to piss and moan every time a new Sox thread is started? Won't someone please think of the bitches?

I think that reports of this team's offensive death have been greatly exaggerated. Time will tell as far as the pitching goes.

I don't know what to make of the 2006 Red Sox. I could see them winning 100 games just as easily as I can see them winning 80.

What I'm really nervous about is Peter Gammons. If all the the young pitchers on the Red Sox blossom at once, he might have a heart attack.

If even half our prospects ever turned out like Gammons projected we would've won as many championships as the Yankees by now.

I still want to know what ever happened to Phil Plantier and Scott Cooper.

Good win yesterday, but Foulke is a train wreck. I think the Jon Pappelbon closing era will be upon us sooner rather than later.
